Shortly after moving to Austin in 1992, Rev. Carol began attending her first Unity church, Unity of Austin. The Unity Principles became her map to a transformative life. As a member she served in many various capacities including but not limited to the Board of Trustees (President, Vice President, Secretary), Adult Sunday School Facilitator,  Worship Assistant and Guest Speaker. After retiring from the City of Austin in 2015 she followed the calling to ministry and began her ministerial studies with Unity Urban Ministerial School. After graduation in 2019, and a 9 month Internship, she was ordained a Unity Minister in June 2020. She began serving Unity of Austin as Associate Minister in July of 2020, which includes a focus on Youth & Family Ministry and the Prayer Team Ministry. She served briefly as the Interim Minister from July 2022 through May 2024 before returning to her Associate Minister role. Rev. Carol is married to Phil, her daughter India lives in Buda with her husband Shane and their two children Atticus and Scarlett. Her stepson, Victor and his wife, Laura, live in Tucson, AZ, with their daughters Lili and Tori. Rev. Carol is an avid gardener, spending time with friends and family and enjoys traveling.
