UCA 2nd Annual
Talent Show & Fundraiser

Our performers are ready and you are in for a treat! Enjoy dance, song, poetry, and more!
Please invite all of your friends and loved ones. This is a fundraiser, so all the money from admission goes to improvements and additions to the Music Department, and to future Coffeehouse Concerts!

Membership Orientation
Sunday, February 8th @ 2pm
Our new member orientation will be held on Sunday, February 8th from 2-5 pm. Participants will learn about becoming a member, Unity of Austin's story, general Unity theology and history.
Participants will explore the 5 Basic Principles, Unity's approach to prayer, amazing stories of Unity founders and leaders, opportunities within Unity - both locally and nationally. Discover ways to get plugged in to our community and become a vibrant participant in our growing ministry! Click here to register.

Choir Rehearsal Resumes
Sunday's from Feb 15 to March 29 @12:30 to 1:15pm
Our choir will resume rehearsals to prepare songs for Easter etc.!
If you love to sing, we would love to have you join our choir! This will be after Service, and a quick snack. Our first performance for the year will be Easter Sunday, April 5th!

Ash Wednesday
Wednesday, February 18 @6:30pm
Release and Imagine as your Lenten journey begins. Possibilities open up when we release. It unlocks our imagination to create a world in full bloom. Join us for this reflective service!
Attendees will have the opportunity to be anointed with sacred oil, and participate in a Salt and Seed Ritual where we can release and then affirm what is to bloom. It is an intimate evening with music and meditation as well.

Prayer Partner Training
Sunday, Feb 22 @2 to 4pm
Participants will learn affirmative prayer techniques, how our Prayer Ministry is expanding, and will receive tools for praying with others. There are many roles within the Prayer Ministry. If you are curious, please attend the training. Participants are not obligated to commit to being a prayer partner. Everyone will walk away with a strengthened prayer practice.

Family Gathering

Off Campus @ Nomadic Outpost
Children and their families are invited to attend our Family Gathering held at our favorite spot, Nomadic Outpost!
Children will experience a fun lesson with crafts or games (or both), Parents will get to connect with one another and our teachers. Families are invited to bring friends to this fun, casual time for connection.

Find the message behind the palm branches, the holy city of Jerusalem and how we find ourselves in this story today.
Maundy Thursday

Connect with your Unity of Austin family as we remember this sacred meal and time shared by Jesus and his disciples. It is a significant experience that will be remembered for years to come.
Participants will experience the intimate connection of community as we reflect on the time Jesus spent with those who were closest to him in his final days. We will explore metaphysical meanings behind this holy week. A foot washing will be offered for those who wish to participate.

Good Friday Services

While many may have seen the events of Good Friday as an ending, it is a beginning. What marks an end, was opened wide in thunderous, rumbles of awakening.
We discover just how what we expect and see as reality can be so much more when we least expect it. From death can come resounding and shaking revelations to a renewal of Spirit awareness. We will extinguish the aspect of our human limitations during the candlelight service. Come be move and inspired as well honor this sacred time.

Sacred Service with our Youth & Family Ministry is fun, spiritual, and rewarding! Join us for our retreat sharpen our skills and increase our impact with our families.
Whether an experienced teacher or curious about starting your sacred service with our program, you will discover the Living Curriculum approach to Spiritual Education. Participants will have the opportunity to practice teaching a lesson, story telling techniques, opportunities to create activities, and explore our ethics and sacred safety obligations to our children and youth. It is a required training for all teachers.
