A native Texan, I was born in Wichita Falls. Retired from 40 years in the media business. I have been a member of Unity Church of Austin for more than 30 years. I founded and lead Unity of Austin’s Spiritual Journey Writers, a women’s writing group, and lead the Prayer and Healing Ministry. I also serve with the Youth and Family Ministry and on the Marketing committee.

I am active in the community serving on the Board of Directors for Austin Theatre Alliance (ATA) (Paramount & State Theatres) and serves on its Education and Outreach committee. I am a member of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc.

My passion for the healing arts is palpable. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist and a Reiki Master, and my expertise extends to the practice of Acutonics.

I enjoy various forms of art, painting, cooking, an occasional round of golf, and traveling.
