Meet our AV Tech and Pianist,
Trevor Zajac

I grew up in a house full of music and I began piano at age 7, the drums at age 9, and the guitar at age 14. Throughout my teenage years I played in every possible band I could at school, church, and in garages. I received most of my training as a percussionist and became the first chair drummer in the top band at my high school as an incoming freshman. While in college I started writing and recording music and later began studying music production at Collin College while still attending UNT full time.

You can catch me running sound and playing piano every Sunday at Unity Church of Austin. I spend my free time cycling and swimming in all of the great rivers and lakes in the Central Texas area. I drink 2 large nitro cold brews a day and enjoy cooking on his 3 ft Blackstone flat top grill. On Saturdays you can find him at the Alamo Drafthouse catching a double feature of the latest pretentious hipster films.

I have been performing and recording with pretty much non-stop.  I have played at House of Blues Dallas, Vulcan Gas Company, Poor David’s Pub, Karbach Brewery, Sundown at Granada, The Free Man, The Goat, The Gingerman, Opening Bell, and countless others. I had the pleasure of working with many notable musicians including Girl Named Tom, W.C. Clark, Shiny Ribs, Gordy Quist of the Band of Heathens, Billy Law, Shiva’s Headband, CYN, and many more.

I made my film directorial debut in the 2022 Austin 48 hour film competition and took home first prize. I had two screenings at the Austin Film Society as well as the Angelika Theater in Dallas and the Tech Port Arena in San Antonio. I currently produce television and radio commercials that are in heavy rotation around Texas and Florida. You may have seen one featuring Drew Pearson, a Dallas Cowboys Hall of Famer.
