Courage by Sara Stewart, Spirit Writer

Thinking back on my life, it seems that courage has been an ongoing theme throughout my life. When I was young, I didn’t know that it was courage that was carrying me through to the next phase of my life.

ree

Failure to thrive, abuse, losing my position as the baby, the death of a parent, alcoholism,

moving to a new town in a new state where I didn’t know anyone- I could probably add more, but these are the ones that stand out as moving on from them required courage, a bit of humility and tenacity.

Courage to work on and confront my fears as an adult has helped me understand the real

meaning of courage is feeling the fear and doing it anyway, knowing that God has brought me this far and I can trust that the Divine Being/Parent will care for me and keep me wrapped in loving extended, expanded arms despite what outside circumstances tell me. At times, I/we must trust that there is a Power Greater than myself/ourselves that watches out for us. I feel this is true, or I would have been gone from this beautiful place called heaven on Earth long ago.

I am forever grateful that God gives me/us the courage to follow where She leads and never abandons us in mid-flight.

Thank you, Spirit, for the courage to follow where you lead, even when I can’t see where we are going.
