Transitions/Harmony

Transitions/Harmony by Sara Stewart, Spirit Writer

When I hear or think of the word transitions, I usually think of some kind of death.  The death

comes in many different forms, the more I think about it.  It is not just a physical death, but it

could be and often is a letting go of something that isn’t working for me anymore: physically,

mentally, emotionally, or spiritually.

I guess I first think of physical death because that is what I have seen much of in my life:

grandparents, parents, siblings, friends, pets; then come relationships: friends, lovers,

acquaintances; my relationship with myself, my relationship with God; my relationship with

churches.

Mentally and emotionally, it means, for me, going from one stage/age of myself to the next

phase of my life, my reality, my job, where I live; learning to look through the veil of what is in

front of me and allowing myself to see what or who is on the other side. How can that help me move forward into a more complete expression of who I REALLY AM?

Spiritually, there have been ups and downs in my faith and periods where I questioned if what I believed was real or was I just living life in a fantasy world.  Even in those periods of questioning, there was, at the core, a belief that God is/was a loving presence and not out to punish me for every mistake I make- God knows I do enough of that without needing input from Spirit.

Luckily during these transition points, there were/are angels around that keep me from totally giving up on myself and the human race.  Being a human Being instead of a human doing is not easy work, but I believe as I continue to move through transitions toward enlightenment, there is an extraordinary amount of love, peace and joy that is present every day and can be seen and felt in whatever way I allow it.  I believe that when we/I allow it to flow in, around, and through me, I transition from fear, pain, expectation, and judgment into Harmony.
